The International Police Association is a friendship organisation for members of the police force, whether serving or retired, founded in 1950 by police sergeant Arthur Troop. As of 2022 we have more than 369,000 members in 68 countries on 6 continents, making us the largest police association in the world.

IPA World Congress

The highlight of the IPA's international calendar is the IPA World Congress. The entire IPA family gathers to review the events of the previous year and determines the future direction for the IPA. 

The 65th IPA World Congress will take place in Lloret de Mar, Spain, from 4 - 9 October 2022. Supporting documents are now avaialble to view.
