Beach Clean-Up by IPA Greece Volunteers in Athens

15 Aug 2022

On Saturday, 4 June 2022, members of the Athens-Attica Region from IPA Section Greece kept their promise and came to Pipka Beach in Voula near Athens to volunteer.

IPA members helped to clear the area, plus cleaned and painted pallets, in preparation for them to be installed on the beach, to facilitate access for the children of Attica’s Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Children (PAAPAV), which is located in Voula.

The IPA President of the Region, Mrs. Irini Makridaki stated: "Every year we are looking forward to the day that we will go to the beach all together, to clean, paint, pave the corridors with pallets, facilitating the access to the beach for the children of PAAPA Voula, especially for those children who move in wheelchairs, helping them to enjoy the summer without any obstacles”.
