IPA France looking forward to 3rd Friendship Meeting

23 Mar 2021

Organising events during the coronavirus crisis is not easy. There is always a chance that the best-laid plans will not come to fruition, if a further Covid wave hits us all, and travel restrictions are in place.

But we decided to be optimistic and offer an event, in the hope that we will be out of this crisis by the time our meeting takes place.

We therefore went ahead and very much look forward to seeing many IPA friends from 7-12 September 2021!

We believe our 3rd Friendship Meeting in Méjannes le Clap in the Gard region in the south of France will prove as popular as our previous meetings. The surrounding area is well-suited for outdoor activities, and we plan to take full advantage of this!

Accommodation will be in bungalows in a holiday village in Méjannes le Clap, and here are just a few of the activities we have included in our programme:

  • Walking or hiking in the local area with a guide
  • Horse riding trip with instructions
  • Visit to the Salamander Cave with an opportunity to abseil
  • Excursion to the famous Ardèche Gorges, known as the ‘European Grand Canyon’
  • Trip to Grau-du-Roi on the Mediterranean coast, including sailing on a catamaran
  • Visit to Aiges-Mortes with its well-preserved medieval city walls
  • Opportunities for yoga, laser shooting, pétanque or electric bikes

Please note that some of these are optional and might incur additional costs.

The last evening will be spent raising a glass of friendship to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our ‘Délégation IPA 30’.

We look forward to seeing you in September!
