09 Mar 2022

IPA Sri Lanka held an Award Ceremony for the Sri Lankan winners of the International Children’s Painting Competitions 2020 and 2021, on 26 January 2022, at the Police Sports Complex, Colombo. The Children’s Painting Competition is an event organised by the IPA Socio-Cultural Commission (SCC) for IPA children worldwide, with the following categories for paintings: Police at Work, Police and Animals, and Children of the World. The ceremony for the 2020 competition could not be held prior to this date, due to the spread of the Corona pandemic in the country.

IPA Sri Lanka is proud to announce that the first places in each of the three categories for the 2020 competition were won by children of IPA members from Sri Lanka, while also winning the overall competition in the year 2020, plus the runner-up position in the year 2021 in the same category.

All children who participated at these two competitions were awarded their certificates issued by the Socio-Cultural Commission of the IPA, and  were presented with the gifts given by the SCC and IPA Sri Lanka.
