As this website is based in the United Kingdom, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulations. The Head of Administration is designated as the Data Protection Officer and the International Administration Centre (IAC) staff are Data Processors.

We understand the importance of maintaining and protecting your privacy and will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.

When you send us a query, or make a comment, we ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling in an online form. The information you provide will be kept confidential and will be not be held longer than is required to answer your query, or comment.

National sections of the IPA are responsible for collecting and maintaining data relating to their members.

In the IAC we only retain personal data on serving elected office holders of IPA national boards and serving and past officers of the International Executive Board (IEB), who have supplied their details to us voluntarily.  Our members renew their membership annually; we consider that an act of consent that the IAC continues to record these office holders’ personal information.  Persons may request at any time that we delete such information from our records.

We do not pass membership details to other organisations or individuals.  We do not process credit card payments, nor make use of direct marketing, nor send out unsolicited material.

 We use information we hold about you to monitor the use of the site and to keep records of traffic flows to the site. This may be by using a "cookie" or small piece of information stored on your computer's hard drive by your browser. The cookies that we use contain no personal information that could be used to identify you. It is possible to configure your browser so that cookies are not used automatically, but this may prevent you from having the benefit of some of the site's features.

Personal information will be released by us when we believe it is necessary to comply with law.
