IPA Video Competition 2021

The IPA Socio-Cultural Commission is pleased to announce the IPA International Video Competition 2021!

Please see the message below from Kyriakos Karkalis, Vice President and Chairperson of the Socio-Cultural Commission, regarding the competition:

'Dear IPA friends,

As Chairperson of the Socio-Cultural Commission (SCC) of the IPA, I am pleased to announce the IPA International Video Competition 2021.

The aim of the competition is to collect video material from all IPA sections around the world and to create an international IPA movie data bank, enabling us to produce an IPA film that will show our activities around the globe.

Our intention is to subsequently distribute this film to all IPA sections as a promotional tool and recruitment aid, as well as to upload it onto the international website.
There will be 3 cash awards (400 €, 300 € and 200 € respectively), as well as merit awards.

COMPETITION DETAILS:

National sections wishing to enter the competition are requested to include the following in their videos:

• IPA activity in their section
• The national police
• Images relating to the country / landscape footage
• People / folklore of the national section

All material will need to be sent by digital media (MP4).

TIMEFRAME:

• Deadline for submitting your videos: 30 September 2021 (UPDATE - 03/09/2021: THE DEADLINE FOR THIS COMPETITION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 30/09/2021. PLEASE SEE THIS LETTER FROM THE CSCC & VP, KYRIAKOS KARKALIS)
• No entries will be accepted after this date.
• The competition winners will be announced during the World Congress 2021.
• Please send your video with the entry form to SCC member Kikis Perikleous at kikis03@cytanet.com.cy, or by registered mail on a USB stick to P.O.B. 57383 Limassol, Cyprus.
